Medical Clinics Directory
Medical clinics can be many things, and can have many different definitions. They can be mobile community facilities. Clinics can be operated by a group of doctors and providers, providing either general medical care or highly specialized diagnosis, care and treatment. Clinics may be associated with universities and medical schools, or they may be out-patient care departments of major hospitals and medical centers.
Different clinics may have various functions. Some are for-profit businesses specializing in primary health care, and others may be non-profit or government owned. Urgen care clinics (also called walk-in) treat patients who need immediate care, without appointment. Clinics also provide specialized care in mental health, geriatric care or orthopaedics.
