Pregnancy Counseling Directory

Pregnancy counseling is usually a free service to help pregnant woman and their families look at all options, and to understand the long-term realities of raising a child, giving it up for adoption, or abortion. They may provide free pregnancy testing, counseling by peers, help and assistance, support post-abortion, and other help and material assistance. They may help families find housing, food, transportation, clothes, and medical care.

Counselors assist pregnant women and new mothers to plan for a child, to contact and deal with adoption agencies and legal procedures, and with counseling after adoption.
