Radiology & Imaging
Medical imaging refers to the techniques and processes used to create images of the human body to diagnose or examine . It is part of biological imaging and incorporates radiology, radiological sciences, endoscopy, thermography, medical photography and microscopy. Measurement and recording techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) can be seen as forms of medical imaging.
A radiological exam is designed to image or see inside a specific area of the patient's body for the purpose of diagnosis.
